'66 Corvair Renderings and Plans

Designer Mike Herbert has given us the first of 3 renderings of our concept for the 1966 Corvair Monza we are building for the 2018 Chicago World of Wheels.  Our idea is to build it with the feel of a 1960's Ferrari.  The lowered stance, knock off wire rims and custom interior all have a Ferrari inspiration and we believe that most will agree that we have accomplished our goal.  But we have to build it to find out for sure of course!

Some of the other features will be an air ride suspension that when parked will allow us to slam it to the ground.  We will also be shaving the door handles and putting in automatic poppers and a custom sound system.  It will have engine bay panels with custom paint by Mando Alba of Mando's Customs.  We are also looking into adding a third tail light and possibly adding a front disc brake conversion.  However time and money will determine if we can do that and maybe more.
