F-100 Cab - Rust Damage and the Floor That Fell Apart
Speakeasy was asked to do all the metal work on the cab of the 1963 Ford F-100 that is being built by Mike Herbert and Edgar Lara. It needed an entire new floor as well as extensive work to the roof, doors and fire wall. Below is a slide show of the damage before the work started.
As you can see from the pictures the floor was completely cut our and a brand new one was welded into place. We posted a video to our Instagram page of how bad the floor was. It had been patched up a few times and not well at all, we were actually able to ripe one of the braces of with our bare hands! Click the Instagram link below to watch the video.
